## Description

The Observatory of Entrepreneurship of Spain is a research and knowledge initiative focused on measuring entrepreneurial activity and the conditions that shape it across the country. Through its participation in the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM), it gathers information directly from people and members of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, offering insights that complement official business records. Its annual research includes more than 35,000 surveys of adults aged 18 to 64 and over 1,000 interviews with experts. The Observatory uses these findings to assess entrepreneurial attitudes, activity at different stages, and the factors that enable or constrain new ventures.

Its services include producing and publishing free GEM reports at national, regional, provincial and other territorial levels, alongside special studies and GUESSS research on university entrepreneurship. The website also provides interactive data, news, events, workshops and information about research teams and publications. Its findings support policymakers, researchers, entrepreneurs, businesses, social organisations and the wider public.
