## Description

G.E.M. Environmental NFP, known as GEM, is a 501(c)(3) scientific charity headquartered in Prescott, Arizona. The organization connects young people with career pathways in conservation, Earth science, construction, and other high-demand fields through hands-on learning and workforce development. Its mission is to expand access to meaningful careers by providing educational opportunities, paid internships, and educational awards, with a vision of building a community engaged in STEM learning.

GEM Corps offers field programs, including Youth Conservation Corps experiences that give young people paid, practical work on conservation projects. GEM also works with government agencies, municipalities, and community partners on data collection and site monitoring to support scientific study and the preservation of public lands, cultural resources, and wildlife. Its programs bring education and industry together, offering participants experience that can help prepare them for future work.

GEM emphasizes making STEM and conservation opportunities accessible to people from diverse backgrounds and offers reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
