## Description

Gemeinsam verwurzelt is a family-run farm and community initiative in Wakendorf I, Germany, bringing agriculture, occupational therapy and social projects together in one place. Led by Frank Gadow and Viola Gadow-Frangakos with their teams, the organisation is grounded in shared values of responsibility, care and connection.

Its agricultural work combines tradition with a thoughtful approach to the land. The farm offers meat from animals raised in humane free-range conditions, cold-pressed oils made on site and distinctive products from its agroforestry system. Customers can browse and shop through the farm’s digital store.

Alongside farming, the occupational therapy service supports adults, children and families as they navigate challenges, with a focus on strengthening and guiding people. Social initiatives and community activities invite people of all ages to take part and experience belonging. Together, these areas reflect the farm’s belief in helping people and nature grow with time, care and mutual support. Through its products, therapy and projects, Gemeinsam verwurzelt creates a place where agriculture, wellbeing and community are closely connected.
