GenBI Sumsel is a vibrant community in South Sumatra, dedicated to supporting and empowering students through the Bank Indonesia Scholarship Program. Established in 2014 with three distinct chapters, GenBI Sumsel promotes personal and professional growth among its members. The organization boasts a structured leadership, comprising a Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, and six specialized divisions: Human Resource Development (PSDM), Partnerships and Collaboration, Education, Environmental Sustainability, Entrepreneurship, and Community Service.

Each division plays a critical role in executing programs aimed at fostering skills, enhancing literacy, promoting environmental awareness, and engaging in social responsibility initiatives. Noteworthy activities include literacy programs, community clean-up campaigns, skill enhancement webinars, and creating business opportunities through entrepreneurship. GenBI Sumsel also emphasizes collaboration, partnering with institutions like the Bank Indonesia Library for educational events. 

With a commitment to cultivating future leaders, GenBI Sumsel inspires students to connect, learn, and actively contribute to society while reinforcing their academic and organizational capabilities.
