## Description

Genealogieforum Potsdam serves as the premier meeting point for family history researchers in the vibrant city of Potsdam. Operating monthly, except for July and August, this forum invites enthusiasts to gather every first Thursday to share insights and resources related to genealogical research. The events are held at Treffpunkt Freizeit, located at Am Neuer Garten 64. Each session features presentations by knowledgeable speakers on topics ranging from student records and historical archives to regional history and practical research methods. Upcoming events showcase activities such as the analysis of family trees, discussions on research strategies in Poland, and explorations of local historical contexts. Participants can engage with archival leaders, explore new research ideas, and connect with fellow genealogists. This community-driven initiative not only emphasizes family heritage but also fosters a collaborative environment where both novice and experienced researchers can thrive. Join Genealogieforum Potsdam to uncover your family's history while interacting with others who share your passion.
