## Description

The General Intelligence Company of New York is an applied AI lab focused on using artificial intelligence to automate businesses across their operations. The company aims to make starting and running a business more accessible, envisioning a future where people can turn an idea into a real-world company with the help of AI. Its central product, Cofounder, is designed to help users automate business activities through natural-language instructions. The company’s approach responds to the limitations of specialized AI agents: tools for tasks such as coding, customer support, marketing, and sales can work effectively in their individual areas, but coordinating them and reviewing their outputs still requires significant human effort. Cofounder is intended to bring these capabilities together, helping businesses operate more autonomously rather than relying on disconnected systems. Alongside its product work, the company shares articles about its vision for the future of business and invites people interested in its mission to explore career opportunities. Based in New York, it is building tools for businesses that can increasingly run themselves.
