## Description

Genes & Cells is a quarterly, peer-reviewed scientific and practical journal focused on biomedical technologies and their potential applications in clinical practice. Formerly known as Cell Transplantology and Tissue Engineering, it is published by Eco-Vector and was founded by Genes & Cells LLC and the Lopukhin Federal Research and Clinical Center of Physical-Chemical Medicine of the Federal Medical Biological Agency. Led by editor-in-chief Maria A. Lagarkova, the journal publishes four issues annually, with articles also appearing continuously online before issue publication.

Its content includes expert opinions, news on cell technologies, reviews, original research, clinical experience, discussions, theoretical work, and coverage of stem cell business. Accepted manuscript types include systematic reviews and meta-analyses, research articles, case reports and case series, letters, short communications, and clinical practice guidelines.
