## Description

General Radar Corp. is a radar technology company founded in 2016 in Belmont, California. It develops high-resolution phased-array systems for aerospace and defense, wind energy, autonomy, and weather applications. The company’s mission is to make advanced aerospace radar more affordable and enable broader uses of the technology.

Its core offering is a scalable C-band AESA radar combining a gallium nitride front end, digital beam-forming, and supercomputer-scale processing. Multiple units can be networked for distributed radar architectures. General Radar also provides signal-processing upgrades that can extend the capabilities of existing systems through high-resolution waveforms, rapid signal sampling, digital beam-forming, and advanced algorithms.

For imaging applications, the Mark-IV is a 76–81 GHz millimeter-wave radar designed for autonomous vehicles, counter-drone operations, airfield foreign-object detection, and wind profiling. It produces high-resolution 3D imaging and point-cloud data. The company highlights long-range tracking, simultaneous multi-mission operation, and cost-effective use of commercial components. General Radar also offers Radar-as-a-Service for monitoring airborne threats and invites customers to request specifications or submit inquiries.
