Genspect

Genspect is an international, non-partisan, and interdisciplinary professional and educational organization that is dedicated to promoting a healthy approach to sex and gender. We firmly believe in providing high-quality, evidence-based care for gender-nonconforming individuals worldwide. As a non-profit organization, we primarily rely on donations from our supporters and profit-making enterprises to fund our initiatives.

Our vision is a world where individuals can freely express themselves in a safe and healthy manner without being limited by gender stereotypes. We value honesty, integrity, authenticity, excellence in healthcare, high-quality research, and diversity of thought. Our objectives include fostering a comprehensive understanding of sex and gender, advocating for a healthy model of care for gender-related distress, and encouraging clinicians to prioritize least-invasive treatment interventions.

We also aim to disseminate high-quality research to inform evidence-based laws, policies, and practices. Additionally, we work towards raising awareness of the social, cultural, and medical implications of gender-related distress and gender-based stereotypes. We offer guidance, information, and support to individuals and their loved ones who have been affected by gender-related distress.
