## Description

The Geoffrey Bawa Trust preserves and shares the legacy of Sri Lankan architect Geoffrey Bawa, recognised as one of the most influential Asian architects of the 20th century. Through its sites, collections, programmes and publications, the Trust connects visitors and researchers with Bawa’s work and its wider cultural and environmental context. Its visitor offerings include tours and stays at places such as Lunuganga and Number 11, De Saram House, as well as The Bawa Space in Colombo, which hosts exhibitions and public events. The Trust also manages an archive and collections, and works across conservation and ecology. Learning initiatives include publications and an oral history project, while its events calendar features activities for different audiences. The Geoffrey Bawa Moonamal Award recognises design that supports ecological coexistence and regeneration, bringing together interdisciplinary perspectives. The Trust invites people to explore its spaces, take part in programmes, learn about Bawa’s influence and support its work.
