GeoNet is a collaborative effort between Toka Tū Ake EQC and GNS Science in partnership with Land Information New Zealand. Established in 2001, GeoNet operates a cutting-edge geological hazard monitoring system in New Zealand. GeoNet provides vital information to the public and researchers, enhancing preparedness and response. The GeoNet website offers free access to earthquake reports, Volcanic Activity Bulletins, and fundamental data sets like GPS Rinex files. Furthermore, they seek feedback on earthquake effects through mobile apps and a web application. GeoNet is dedicated to supporting both monitoring and research, ensuring safety and robust data access for the New Zealand community.
