Georgia Prevention Project is an organization committed to preventing substance misuse and promoting positive mental health behaviors among youth and young adults in Georgia. With a dedicated team of professionals, including the Executive Director, Kaitlin Merchen, they have been providing prevention programming and grants since 2016. Hanna Naukkarinen, the CPP Program Coordinator, educates youth and young adults on the dangers of prescription drug misuse.
Jonathan Thomas, the DFC/PAD Program Coordinator, works on substance use prevention in Polk County. Together, the team at Georgia Prevention Project aims to make a positive impact on the community by raising awareness and providing education on substance misuse and mental health
