Founded in 1964 by Georg and Stefanie Hartlmaier, who were the first full-time residents of Brian Head, our shop has a rich history.

Georg, a former ski racer and coach in Germany and Austria, brought his expertise to Brian Head as the Resort's first Mountain Manager and Ski School Director. With Stefanie's support, they opened Georg's Ski Shop to provide high-quality gear and apparel to mountain visitors. Georg Hartlmaier's exceptional skills and experiences, combined with his passion for skiing and climbing, have made him a world-class athlete.
