## Description

The German Biochar Forum is the premier independent symposium dedicated to climate protection via biochar within the German-speaking regions. Set to take place in Berlin on November 18-19, 2024, this influential event brings together experts, policymakers, and innovators to discuss and shape sustainable strategies that integrate biochar carbon removal (BCR) within national and corporate frameworks.

Participants will explore essential topics such as carbon accounting methodologies, financing solutions for biochar projects, and the alignment of BCR methods with governmental monitoring systems. The forum features a diverse lineup of speakers from leading organizations and universities, engaging in workshops, panel discussions, and networking opportunities aimed at fostering environmental responsibility and advancing climate protections.

By promoting the use of biochar, a valuable and mature technology, the forum aims to support the ecological transformation necessary to meet climate goals and to explore its integration into sustainable urban development strategies. Join the German Biochar Forum to be part of a collaborative effort tackling climate change through innovative biochar solutions.
