## Description

The Gérontopôle Grand Est is a regional innovation and cooperation hub focused on healthy ageing and the silver economy in France’s Grand Est region. Created through a collaborative effort, it brings together people and organisations working across research, education, healthcare, social and medico-social services, prevention, economic development, public policy and citizen engagement. Its work centres on three aims: encouraging cross-disciplinary projects led by local stakeholders, connecting regional actors through a collaborative network, and promoting initiatives that reflect the needs of different territories.

The Gérontopôle supports its members by sharing information and resources, highlighting their projects, creating opportunities to meet, and helping new collaborative initiatives emerge. Membership is open to those involved in improving ageing outcomes, including through research, innovation, care and services. The organisation also provides a regional map of stakeholders and an online resource space, and hosts or publicises events, professional training and discussions on ageing-related topics. Through these activities, it seeks to strengthen expertise and cooperation across the region and contribute to better ageing for its population.
