Gestalt Community Schools is a charter management organization based in Memphis, Tennessee. Founded by Yetta Lewis and Derwin Sisnett in 2011, the organization aims to uplift the community through education and community development. The story of Gestalt Community Schools began with the opening of Power Center Academy in 2008, which witnessed early successes in increased achievement scores and the elimination of community blight.

Building on these achievements, Gestalt Community Schools was established to scale their work and make a larger impact. Their mission is to leverage community assets to empower citizens who are college-ready, career-ready, and community-ready. They achieve this through an exceptional educational program that includes rigorous curriculum standards, high expectations for academic achievement, integrated technology, and community service.
