## Description

Gesunde Kinderwelt is an Augsburg-based provider of courses and talks that help parents, caregivers and children respond more confidently to childhood emergencies and illness. Founded by Laura and Melanie, the brand draws on their experience as paediatric nurses, including more than ten years working on acute wards at a university hospital, as well as their bachelor’s degrees in health psychology and medical education. Their practical, accessible teaching aims to support children’s health and wellbeing by giving participants useful knowledge and skills for everyday situations.

The core offering is a roughly three-hour course on emergencies in childhood, available to small groups of up to 12 people. Topics include febrile seizures, cuts, croup, poisoning, fever, choking and first response. Gesunde Kinderwelt also provides talks for larger groups, such as parent evenings, and private sessions for families, friends or events. A separate one-hour course introduces preschool children to recognising emergencies, calling for help, checking basic signs, caring for minor injuries and comforting others.
