## Description

Distraction is a brand founded by Adam Leeb and Patrick Paul in Detroit, Michigan. It all started with the successful launch of their first device on Kickstarter in December 2014, which led to the manufacturing and shipping of tens of thousands of devices and accessories worldwide. The team at Distraction prides itself on being small and agile, with their core team based in Detroit and their developing and manufacturing partners located all over the globe. Distraction offers a range of devices and accessories that cater to the needs of writers. Their flagship product, the Freewrite, is a smart typewriter that has become beloved by writers. It comes in various versions, including the Classic & Original, the Traveler, and the Hemingwrite Signature Edition. Each device offers unique features such as extended battery life, portability, and an iconic design inspired by Hemingway. In addition to their products, Distraction also provides support through their Knowledge Base and FAQ section. They are responsive during business hours and offer troubleshooting assistance via email and phone. Distraction is brought to you by Astrohaus, a dedicated team of designers, engineers, and writers based in Detroit.
