West Coast is a brand that aims to inspire and educate the next generation of surveyors. It all started in 2017 with the creation of the first GKiS poster, a resource designed to help children understand what their parents do at work. The response from the industry was overwhelmingly positive, leading to the development of a range of survey posters that have been distributed globally, with over 60,000 copies sent worldwide and a significant portion reaching the United States.


But West Coast's mission goes beyond just posters. They have expanded to include an online hub of resources for young surveyors and educators, events where students can explore geospatial technology and meet surveyors, and the GKiS Education Fund to support ambassadors and school visits. They have even created an action-packed comic book that introduces kids to the world of surveying.


As the project continues to grow, West Coast plans to offer full programs for educators, scholarship schemes, and a wealth of resources to inspire the next generation. Their team is dedicated to providing education on geospatial topics, growing their community and Brand Ambassadors, partnering with teachers and survey associations, and offering scholarship opportunities globally.
