# getsoldbytext.com - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `getsoldbytext.com` ## Description Sold by Text is a text-message buy-and-sell service operated by Sold by Text LLC, an Ohio limited liability company based in Holmes County. It serves households and small farms in rural communities, helping local buyers and sellers connect without needing internet access. Members receive text messages featuring items for sale in the categories they choose, and buyers and sellers arrange transactions directly. Users join by texting JOIN or DEALS and can adjust their category preferences or set alerts for particular items. Listings are sent up to once daily, Monday through Saturday, when items are available. Local businesses can also pay to place a banner at the top of a category’s listing, without generating additional messages. Posting an ad may involve a charge, which is disclosed for approval before payment. When a buyer requests information about an ad, the seller’s phone number may be shared with that buyer, with the seller’s consent. Sold by Text says it does not sell or rent members’ numbers or share mobile information for marketing. ## Industries - 🛍 E-commerce and Shopping - 🛍 Classifieds _(under E-commerce and Shopping)_ - 🛍 Marketplace _(under E-commerce and Shopping)_ ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Tussock | #cc9242 | accent | | Everglade | #1c4a2a | dark | | Parchment | #f3ecd9 | light | --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
