## Description

Gezinshuis Masido is a family-style care home in Enschede, in the Twente region of the Netherlands, near Lonneker. It offers a safe, welcoming place for children and young people who cannot live at home temporarily and for whom foster care is not a suitable option. The home’s approach centres on giving each child room to be a child and supporting their development in a family setting.

Masido also provides overnight respite care and day care for children under 18 with multiple disabilities or intellectual disabilities. This service can give parents and caregivers a short break, with care available for a few hours, a day, or several regular days. The team’s experience includes nursing, residential support, care for people with intellectual disabilities, acquired brain injury, and profound multiple disabilities.
