## Description

GHOR Zeeland, the Medical Assistance Organization of the Zeeland region, plays a crucial role in coordinating and managing medical responses during incidents, including disasters and crises. This organization ensures seamless collaboration among ambulance services, hospitals, general practitioners, and specialists, functioning as a unified entity in critical moments. GHOR Zeeland's responsibilities span the entire medical assistance chain: preparation prior to an incident, active management during emergency situations, and post-incident care to restore normalcy as swiftly as possible.

In addition to its operational duties, GHOR Zeeland serves as an advisor to local municipalities and other governmental medical agencies in the region, fostering effective communication and planning. The organization values a dynamic work environment, offering diverse opportunities within the Zeeland Safety Region, including roles for both professional and volunteer firefighters. By committing to enhanced safety and preparedness, GHOR Zeeland aims to secure a safer future for all its residents.
