**Tom Gidden: The Geek's Haven**

Tom Gidden is a passionate tech enthusiast and Head Geek at Starberry in Cambridge, England. With a diverse skill set that includes strategic planning, development, documentation, and training, Tom thrives on tackling various technical challenges. His interests extend beyond his professional life, as he indulges in numerous tech projects during his spare time. Tom has home automated various appliances, experimented with 3D printing using his CEL Robox, and delved into the world of Internet-of-Things with devices like ESP8266 and ARM devices.

In 2018, Tom embarked on a new hobby—fountain pens. After years of neglecting his handwriting, he reinvigorated his interest in writing instruments, amassing a collection that ranges from modern flex pens to whimsical kitsch designs. Although his pen hobby has taken a backseat recently, Tom reflects fondly on how it improved his handwriting. Through his engaging blog, he shares insights and experiences that resonate with fellow tech enthusiasts and fountain pen collectors alike.
