## Description

GiftLog is a gift-management app created to help people keep track of the presents they give and receive. Available for free on iOS and Android, it offers a simple way to stay organised, avoid repeating gifts, and remember to thank people. Users can record gifts, link them to contacts, and create events with shareable wishlists for family and friends. Wishlists can include items recipients do not want, helping gift-givers choose more suitable presents. Contact profiles can also store likes and dislikes, while links to external gift registries can be gathered alongside event and contact wishlists.

GiftLog includes a “Send Thanks” feature for recording and managing thank-you messages, including notes sent offline. The service also sends optional newsletters with gift ideas, and users can unsubscribe at any time. Data is stored in the cloud, allowing users to access their information from any device running the app, though an internet connection is required. Founder Sonal Gir developed GiftLog after relying on notebooks and spreadsheets to manage gifts for family and friends.
