## Description

Gilgamesh is an independent creative studio built around a philosophy of considered branding and tailored visual communication. Describing itself as “not a design studio” but a “demented culture machine,” it treats design as a way of thinking and making that can contribute to cultural growth, rather than simply a service. The studio works with people and brands that value design and want to develop culturally relevant work.

Its approach brings together five core disciplines: graphic design, art direction, typography, illustration, and film and photography. Gilgamesh’s services include branding, graphic design, web and digital design, packaging and publication design, motion design, and creative strategy. It combines strategic thinking with craft-based processes to create conceptually grounded, carefully made visual communication.

The studio’s featured projects span a range of clients and sectors, including independent publications, a brewery, an apparel and cosmetics brand, a sports drink, a restaurant, a digital design studio, and a wine producer.
