## Description

GinIstra is an annual festival celebrating gin, cocktails and the stories behind their makers. Held each autumn at the Old Tobacco Factory in Rovinj, Croatia, the event brings together local and international producers, distillers, bartenders and enthusiasts to explore the world of gin through tastings, presentations, conversations and hands-on experiences. Its fifth edition takes place on 23 and 24 October 2026, with more than 30 exhibitors and two days of activities. The programme includes workshops, masterclasses, a gin styles presentation, a cocktail challenge, a pub quiz and the GinIstra Awards. Festival tickets also provide access to the music programme, featuring Croatian performers Opća opasnost and Maja Šuput, alongside Ivan Licul and his band. GinIstra welcomes visitors seeking new flavours and insights, and invites producers, distillers and bartenders to apply as exhibitors. With more than 2,000 visitors recorded in 2024, the festival offers a lively setting for discovering gin and connecting with the people who make and enjoy it.
