## Description

**Brand Description: CSIRO Ginninderra**

CSIRO Ginninderra, also known as the Ginninderra Experiment Station, is a prominent 701-hectare research site located in north Canberra, nestled between Belconnen and the Barton Highway. Since 2011, CSIRO has been proactively exploring ways to repurpose this historically agricultural land for innovative and sustainable urban development. The organization envisions a community that harmonizes social, environmental, and economic sustainability, fostering high-quality living, working, and mobility options.

CSIRO's commitment extends beyond mere land development; it aims to create a distinctive urban center enriched with community facilities, green spaces, and housing affordability, all while respecting the area's heritage. The reclassification of the site to 'Urban' status in 2016 opens pathways for collaborations that embody scientific and environmentally conscious design. CSIRO engages with local stakeholders and experts to cultivate a living model of sustainable urban development that inspires future generations, proving its dedication to addressing real-world challenges through innovative science and technology.
