## Description

Girls Go Shred is a vibrant community dedicated to supporting and empowering women in snowboarding and skiing. Founded in 2015 by Kristen, who sought to create a space for female riders after noticing the lack of women on the slopes, the organization has grown from a single ride night at Sugar Mountain into a dynamic network that connects women of all ages and skill levels. Girls Go Shred offers a variety of events, including on-snow demos, park camps, and sponsoring group rides, all designed to foster an inclusive atmosphere where women can freely share their passion for winter sports. In addition to events, the community promotes an engaging online network that encourages women to connect, share experiences, and celebrate their love for snowboarding and skiing. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced rider, Girls Go Shred is committed to ensuring every woman feels welcomed on the mountain. Join us to be part of this inspiring movement and check out our events to see what's coming up!
