## Description

Plan International’s Girls’ Rights Platform is an online resource designed to help NGOs, young activists, diplomats, UN agencies, and academic communities bring girls’ rights to the centre of international policy and advocacy. Grounded in the principle that girls’ rights are human rights, the platform supports work on gender equality and the visibility of girls in international agendas. Its Human Rights Policy Database contains more than 8,000 documents dating from 1948 to the present, enabling users to research policy language and develop arguments for advocacy and policymaking. Visitors can explore documents, search paragraphs that mention girls, read full-length texts, and save selected passages. The platform also provides Girls’ Rights Advocacy Tools addressing questions such as how states can advance girls’ rights in international policy and how young activists can engage with international accountability mechanisms. Additional features include a help centre, information about the platform and database, and contact and terms information.
