Girls Rock Philly is a dynamic brand that is dedicated to creating liberatory futures through the power of sound and joy. As a youth-centered music organization, they strive to build an intergenerational community of girls, women, and trans and gender-expansive individuals. Through fearless expression, artistic experimentation, and collaboration, Girls Rock Philly helps develop confidence and leadership skills in their participants, empowering them to transform themselves and their communities.

Starting in 2006, Girls Rock Philly emerged as a response to the lack of music mentorship and healthy development opportunities for pre-teen and teenage girls. They have grown from a one-week summer camp with 20 campers to an organization with year-round programming that reaches over 150 youths annually. Their mission has attracted an extensive network of like-minded nonprofits, leading to the formation of the Girls Rock Camp Alliance.
