## Description

**Give Back Barbados** is a transformative initiative launched by the Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training of Barbados. In June 2018, the government reinstated tuition fee payments for Barbadian students attending the University of the West Indies, Barbados Community College, and Erdiston Teachers’ Training College. As part of this program, students are required to engage in a specified number of community service hours annually, fostering a spirit of civic responsibility.

The **Give Back** program aims to instill a culture of service among citizens, encouraging them to contribute actively to their communities and the nation at large. It emphasizes that education is a privilege that comes with the duty to uplift others. This initiative is more than just a policy—it's a national movement dedicated to shaping Barbados through volunteerism and community engagement. By participating, Barbadians not only enhance their skills but also develop a profound appreciation for their country and fellow citizens. The program encapsulates a commitment to collective growth and shared responsibility in building a stronger Barbados.
