## Description

Golfklúbbur Kópavogs og Garðabæjar (GKG) is a golf club located between the Icelandic municipalities of Kópavogur and Garðabær. It offers two courses: Leirdalsvöllur, an 18-hole course, and Mýrin, a 9-hole course. Members and visitors can also use the club’s indoor golf facility, which features 16 Trackman simulators and spacious areas for putting and chipping. GKG provides golf instruction, general courses, children’s and youth programs, elite training, seasonal practice, and golf activity camps. Its calendar includes club championships, weekend and weekday competitions, team events, and other tournaments. The club supports a broad community, with active women’s and newcomer programs as well as established junior and performance golf development. For businesses, GKG offers meeting rooms for groups of two to 30 and services for corporate golf days, team activities, VIP tournaments, and staff outings. The club also shares course information, opening hours, pricing, and membership guidance; adult membership applicants may face a multi-year waiting list.
