## Description

The Society for Critical Philosophy (Gesellschaft für kritische Philosophie, GKPN) based in Nuremberg is dedicated to the exploration and dissemination of philosophical thought. Founded with the goal of fostering critical dialogue, the GKPN publishes the journal "Aufklärung und Kritik" (A&K), which features articles on various philosophical topics. The society offers a rich array of activities, including workshops, lectures, and special symposiums that engage both members and the broader public.

Members can access an extensive archive of A&K articles and manuscripts through the society's website, including a special CD-ROM compilation of all published issues from 1994 to 2018, supplemented by a focus issue on Karl Popper. The GKPN encourages participation and invites individuals to become members to support its mission. Stay updated through their website for the latest publications and event announcements, and explore their promotion of critical philosophy, which emphasizes reasoned argumentation and rigorous intellectual inquiry.
