## Description

Gladstone Speedway is a motorsport and event facility in Benaraby, Queensland, within the CQ Motorsports complex and approximately 30 minutes south of Gladstone. Described as Central Queensland’s premier speedway and event facility, it has served the Gladstone community for more than forty years, offering family entertainment through spectator racing and opportunities for people to take part as competitors or event volunteers.

The track was built by club member and super sedan enthusiast Bob McCosker, together with his team at McCosker Contracting, club members, volunteers and local businesses. Gladstone Speedway hosts racing events and provides information about event dates, tickets, results, track records and driver nominations. Its Clay-Per-View offering and photo gallery help visitors follow the action and explore past events.

Through Gladstone Auto Club membership, people can participate in speedway events at the venue and at other facilities across Queensland and Australia. The grounds are also available for hire for a range of event types beyond motorsport.
