## Description

Gladys Boutros is a children’s book author best known for Bubba and the Sweet Pea, an illustrated story inspired by a real sulphur-crested cockatoo. Drawing on lessons from Bubba’s short life, Boutros created a touching tale about friendship, personal struggles, and discovering worth beyond outward appearance. The story follows Bubba as he longs for outer beauty and comes to understand the importance of inner beauty. Through his journey, the book encourages young readers to approach challenges related to self-worth with greater confidence.

The website introduces the book, offers it for purchase through a store, and shares videos, interviews, news, and press coverage connected with its journey. Featured updates include an “I AM” video, an interview with Ben Fordham on Radio 2GB, recognition as a finalist at the AIA, and information about international versions. Boutros’s work brings together a heartfelt animal-inspired story and an uplifting message for children, while the site provides readers with ways to learn more about the book and its milestones.
