# GLAO - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `glao.org` ## Description The Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists (GLAO) is a regional constituent of the American Association of Orthodontists, representing orthodontic communities in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Ontario, and western Pennsylvania. The association advocates on behalf of its members and works to promote the value and advancement of orthodontics. It supports professional education and collaboration through annual sessions, continuing education opportunities, quarterly Coffee Chats, and information about graduate orthodontic programs. Its meetings and educational resources serve orthodontists and their teams, while leadership and volunteer opportunities encourage members to contribute to the specialty and the association. GLAO also provides membership information, awards, access to AAO exclusive discounts, and resources on advocacy and professional issues. Its news and publications include an e-newsletter featuring updates, council reports, and career opportunities for members. The association’s website also helps visitors locate an orthodontist and learn about its regional components. GLAO’s 2026 Annual Session in Columbus will celebrate the association’s 100th anniversary and offer programming for doctors and their teams. ## Industries - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Dentist and Dental Services _(under Health)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/GreatLakesAssociationofOrthodontists) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/glao.ortho) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idB3Cb_vCY/w/500/h/203/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792156027452) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idB3Cb_vCY/w/323/h/323/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792156027571) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Cloud Burst | #263961 | accent | | Congress Blue | #01478c | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - Gill Sans Light — asset _(custom)_ - Anton — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
