## Description

Gleap is a dating platform for queer men designed to make connections safer through verified profiles, visible trust ratings and community accountability. Planned for iOS and Android in 2026, the app will initially launch in New York City, London and Hong Kong, with early access available through its waitlist.

Rather than relying on endless swiping, Gleap presents nearby profiles in a grid, with trust levels and verification status visible. Users can browse within a radius of up to 15 kilometres and filter by trust, badges, communities and preferences. Optional ID and selfie checks can earn a Verified Badge, while bot detection and safety reporting are intended to help limit bad actors.

After meetups, users can rate one another on safety, honesty and health transparency; ratings contribute to trust scores and badges, and disputes can be submitted for review. Additional features include messaging, location sharing, anonymous browsing and controls for hiding a profile from specific users. Gleap says it is ad-free and does not sell user data.
