## Description

Glenside Farm is a welcoming working and social farm serving the community in the drumlin countryside of County Down, Northern Ireland. Located about two miles outside Comber and around ten minutes from Belfast, it brings farming, nature and community together to support health and wellbeing. The farm is home to Glen Cowie Pedigrees, including award-winning Aberdeen Angus cattle and Blue Texel sheep. The pedigree Aberdeen Angus herd was established in 2014, and Blue Texel sheep joined the farm in 2017. The livestock have earned recognition at events including the Balmoral Show and the Royal Highland Show.

Alongside its livestock work, Glenside Farm offers ways for people to connect with the farm through visits, volunteering and events. Its community-focused activities invite people to experience rural life and engage with farming and nature. Visitors can learn about the farm’s story and its development from pedigree livestock farming to community farming. Glenside Farm also shares event updates and volunteer opportunities through its mailing list and social media channels.
