## Description

Global Diversity Foundation is a registered charity in England and Wales and a US 501(c)(3) nonprofit working with changemakers to help communities and environments flourish. With more than 20 years of experience, it supports projects addressing complex social and environmental challenges through hands-on assistance, mentoring, practical resources, and connections to global networks. Its multidisciplinary approach brings together biodiversity conservation, sustainable livelihoods, agroecology, cultural heritage, education, and community governance.

The foundation develops long-term field programmes and supports community-led initiatives, particularly in Morocco. Its work includes establishing seed banks that conserve local crop varieties and threatened plants, supporting nurseries that grow plants for ecosystem restoration, and helping cooperatives strengthen marketing and revenue. It also works with rural Amazigh communities to sustain livelihoods and traditions, and produces practical toolkits for people advancing social and environmental justice. Through the Global Environments Network, the foundation connects hundreds of changemakers. Its activities also include visual storytelling and the Marrakech Harvest Festival, celebrating the region’s farmers, craftspeople, food, and biocultural diversity.
