Global Brigades is the largest student-led movement for global health, committed to empowering communities and reducing inequalities worldwide. With a holistic approach, they offer a range of programs and services to address key health and economic factors that significantly improve community well-being. Their impactful initiatives include the evaluation and research of their holistic model, empowering communities through the Eskala Microfinance and Microequity programs, and providing access to clean water.

They also train community health workers to ensure sustainable healthcare solutions. Since 2004, Global Brigades has been working tirelessly with local teams in six countries, mobilizing a staggering 91,111 volunteers and partnering with 769 communities. Through their efforts, they have inaugurated 49 empowered communities, conducted countless patient consultations, and invested in community banks and businesses.

Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Global Brigades has adapted by offering virtual international programs like TeleBrigades and Telesquads, allowing students to engage with communities around the world remotely.
