## Description

Globalfer is a family-origin business group whose roots lie in Portugal’s agri-food sector. Founded through agricultural and livestock production in 1973, the group expanded into real estate in 1987 and began internationalising in the early 2000s through partnerships in Angola and Brazil. Globalfer, SGPS, S.A. was formally established in 2005 to bring the group’s holdings together.

Today, Globalfer operates across agriculture and forestry, animal feed and pet food, poultry, meat and charcuterie, vegetarian and healthy foods, food distribution, construction, and property development. Its portfolio also includes egg production and processing, food innovation, metal structures, and mechanical engineering. The group reports 15 companies, 16 farms and estates, seven industrial units, and four commercial offices.

Globalfer says it focuses on quality, innovation, and responsibility, developing solutions for customers and partners. Its consolidated 2025 figures report sales of €111,781,697, EBITDA of €22,674,048, capital expenditure of €15,715,565, and 373 employees. The group is headquartered in Ferreira do Zêzere, Portugal, with a presence in Brazil.
