## Description

Global Hands-On Universe (GHOU) is an international educational initiative that helps students explore the Universe while applying concepts and tools from science, mathematics, and technology. It brings together participants and organizations from around the world to support astronomy education and collaborative learning. A central part of GHOU’s work is training teachers to use modern tools and resources in the classroom, while engaging students in international scientific projects.

The organization shares information about its projects and provides resources related to astronomy education, including software and telescopes. Its activities also include conferences and workshops, giving educators, students, and astronomers opportunities to learn, participate, and connect with the global community. GHOU welcomes members from across the world, including students, teachers, educators, and astronomers. It also invites donations to help sustain its projects and programs. Through these offerings, GHOU aims to make hands-on astronomy accessible and to bring scientific inquiry into education through shared resources, practical learning, and international collaboration.
