## Description

GLOBTAR is a Canadian AI-enabled trade platform connecting Canadian food suppliers with domestic and international buyers. It helps food businesses discover partners, manage sourcing and coordinate transactions through a single digital marketplace. Canadian manufacturers, importers and exporters can create supplier profiles, list products, receive requests for quotations (RFQs), submit quotes and build relationships with qualified buyers. Buyers can browse suppliers, post RFQs, compare offers and request samples.

The platform offers AI-assisted supplier matching, with administrative review of recommended connections, and verifies suppliers for relevant quality and compliance requirements before their catalogues go live. Its tools support secure messaging, negotiations, order and shipment management, document handling, analytics and transaction coordination. GLOBTAR also provides export-readiness support, including assistance with documentation, certifications and logistics.

Product categories featured include snacks, private-label and OEM goods, organic foods, sauces and condiments, ingredients, frozen foods, bakery products and beverages. Suppliers can list without subscriptions or listing fees; GLOBTAR earns commission on closed deals.
