## Description

The General Motors Astronomy Club (GMAC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to sharing the wonders of the night sky with others. Founded in 2017, the club hosts a variety of events, including monthly gatherings at the General Motors Milford Proving Ground, as well as sidewalk astronomy events in downtown Milford and other locations in Southeast Michigan. You don't have to be a member to enjoy the night sky with GMAC, as most of their events are free and open to the public, with no equipment required. However, if you're interested in supporting the club and taking advantage of exciting membership benefits, they offer a membership program with additional perks. GMAC also has elected officers who are passionate about astronomy and are available to answer any questions you may have. So, whether you're a seasoned astronomer or a beginner, join the General Motors Astronomy Club and discover the beauty of the cosmos.
