Gender Monitoring Office (GMO) is a critical institution in Rwanda dedicated to promoting gender equality and fighting against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and related injustices. Established by the Government of Rwanda through the Constitution in 2023, GMO is mandated to monitor and ensure the respect of gender equality principles across all sectors.
