## Description

Grovfjord Mek. Verksted (GMV) is a Norwegian shipbuilder based in Grovfjord, creating tailored, high-quality vessels for the aquaculture industry. At its Grovfjord facility, the company has built and developed more than 160 vessels, working closely with customers to shape each project around their needs. Its services include new vessel construction, repair, maintenance and conversions, supported by an in-house design and engineering team and established local suppliers.

GMV brings together experienced, certified metalworkers, welders, plumbers and mechanics, as well as engineers with industry expertise. Modern facilities and equipment help the team manage efficient operations and maintain quality throughout the process. The company describes its vessels as continually evolving in response to customer requirements, and is collaborating with customers on future vessel technology, including unmanned solutions and zero-emission technology. Its delivered vessels include service and aquaculture catamarans built for operators such as Nordlaks Oppdrett and Cermaq Norway. Combining local craftsmanship with an international standard, GMV supports customers from planning through construction and beyond.
