## Description

Gnoppix is an innovative Linux distribution that originated in September 2002, building upon Debian GNU/Linux 3.0. Developed by Andreas Müller, it gained recognition after its public launch in 2003 and played a pivotal role in the development of Ubuntu's LiveCD functionality. Although the Gnoppix project was paused in favor of Ubuntu, it was revitalized in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic, reclaiming its position in the Linux community.

Offering a fast, reliable, and secure operating system, Gnoppix is designed for ease of use, making it ideal for a variety of users. Key features include the ability to run from a DVD, USB drive, or local drive, along with support for resuming previous sessions while in live mode. Moreover, it ensures user privacy by eliminating all traces after use. While optional hard disk installation is available, it continues to focus on live operation. As an open-source initiative, Gnoppix remains committed to providing a seamless computing experience without compromising personal data.
