## Description

Gnosall & District Community First Responders is a volunteer-led charity providing emergency medical support to Gnosall and nearby communities. For more than 20 years, its trained responders have attended 999 medical calls on behalf of West Midlands Ambulance Service. They provide pre-hospital assessment and care while an ambulance is also dispatched, often reaching emergencies sooner because they are already based in the community. The group serves Gnosall and surrounding areas, including Adbaston, Newport, Church Eaton, Norbury and other local villages.

The charity also raises funds to supply and maintain public access defibrillators, with units located at venues and facilities across the area. Its volunteers offer informal community sessions on CPR and the correct use of automated external defibrillators, helping participants become familiar with these potentially lifesaving actions. The group currently has seven active responders, who volunteer on a rota alongside their jobs and family commitments. Supported by charitable donations, Gnosall CFR welcomes new volunteers and invites local organisations to enquire about fundraising events and community training.
