## Description

The Royal Observatory of Belgium (ROB) is a premier federal research institute dedicated to advancing knowledge in Earth sciences and space research under the Belgian Federal Science Policy. ROB specializes in a wide array of scientific fields, including space geodesy, seismology, gravimetry, and the study of solar activity, planets, and stars. A key focus of the observatory is its GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems) research group, which has evolved from an initial program on GPS to encompass a variety of systems, including GLONASS and GALILEO.

This department not only conducts extensive research but also offers crucial scientific services related to the integration of Belgium into international terrestrial reference frames. ROB actively engages in multidisciplinary research applications using GNSS data, enhancing the understanding of Earth's dynamics and facilitating international collaborations in geodetic activities. With a mission-oriented approach, the Royal Observatory of Belgium continues to contribute significantly to global endeavors in scientific research and data analysis.
