## Description

Mountain Goat is an Australian beer brand that has been brewing in the back streets of Richmond, Victoria, since 1997. Known for its “Always Up To Something” approach, the brewery offers a range spanning familiar, well-loved beers and more adventurous releases. Its story includes Steam Ale, described as one of Australia’s first organic brews, alongside bold limited releases and complex barrel-aged beers. The range is intended to offer something for different tastes, from approachable favourites to distinctive, experimental styles.

Mountain Goat also provides an online shop and information to help customers find its beers. Visitors can experience the brand at its Richmond brewery, where they can enjoy a beer and pizza and see where the brewing takes place. The company also has a brewpub in Newtown, New South Wales, serving its regular favourites on tap as well as Sydney exclusives. In addition to beer, the site features a spirits offering, though it provides no further details about those products.
